Bispham with Norbreck Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 866

Friday 11th October 2024 at the Masonic Hall, Adelaide Street, Blackpool.
First meeting of the new season for the Lodge with a proposed talk on the tools of a Mark Master Mason being the highlight of the meeting.
Eighteen members were present.
The Lodge was opened and the WM, Bro. Gordon Ivett worked through the business on the summons, which included notification of an advancement at the November 2024 meeting. The candidate being a result of attendance at the recent Craft Masons to dine night at Fylde Mark Lodge.
Bro Peter Roscow gave an eloquent and articulate talk on the tools of a Mark Master Mason, which was well received and appreciated by the Brethren.
The WM closed the Lodge and the Brethren assembled for the obligatory photos and then onto the bar and subsequently the festive board.
A Blackpool bunco raffle was run by WBro. Steve Smith, which raised £88 for charity!
An occurrence never seen before in the Lodge or reportedly on the Fylde coast occurred during the raffle with a photo providing the only evidence!
An evening of sparkling wit and conversation accompanied the meal and a good night was had by all!
